The UK terror threat level is currently ‘substantial’, meaning that a terror attack is likely. At Crowdguard, we’re here to support you as you consider both your duty of care to protect people from the current terror threat level, and your future obligations under the proposed Martyn’s Law counter terrorism and security act.

At the moment, we don’t know when Martyn’s Law will become legislation. But we do know that it has become an important part of the government’s counter terrorism strategy.

Regardless of any future legal obligations, we passionately believe that protecting people against a terror attack should be integral to planning an event. We also believe that any measures you put in place should be proportionate, operationally deliverable and commercially viable.

That’s why we’re our holding our FREE UK Terror Threats: how you can protect people and places event is so important to us. We want to help those responsible for events, venues and crowded spaces to understanding the terror attack risk and how they can mitigate it. By pre-registering now, you can secure your place for what promises to be a fantastic and informative knowledge sharing event.

A terror attack could happen at any time – the London Bridge Terror Attack and the Manchester Arena Terror attack are tragic examples of that.

We won’t always be able to prevent attacks, but by working together, sharing insights and best practice, we can mitigate risk, and improve resilience.

Being informed is a key part of preparedness. Those responsible for publicly accessible locations (PALs), venues and events have a moral duty to act now to protect people against UK terror threats and take proportionate steps to prevent and prepare for a terror attack.

That’s why we’re holding our FREE event at Elland Road Stadium in Leeds on Wednesday 7th February 2024, 10AM – 2.30PM. This unique event will help you understand threat, vulnerability and risk so that you can make informed decisions.
