Vehicle Security Barrier (VSB) & Vehicle Classification

Rating: V/1500/48/90:0.0

Vehicle security barrier (VSB), physically impact tested and certified in accordance with IWA 14-1:2013. The VSB should be tested and certified as a core, with certification allowing
shrouding of the core with bespoke elements of street furniture or similar. The achieved rating shall be V/1500/48/90:0.0 as a minimum.
The VSB shall be a shallow-mount system with a maximum total foundation depth of 300mm, and shall be tested and certified as a removable solution. The vertical bollard cores shall be locked, unlocked, deployed and removed with help of a security
key provided by the manufacturer. The visible height of the vertical bollard cores shall not exceed 500mm above FFL.
The foundation of the VSB shall be pre-reinforced and delivered fully assembled, negating the need for any additional reinforcement works in-situ. Sockets within the foundation that are designed to receive the vertical bollard cores shall be finished with a self-closing stainless steel hinged cover assembly.

V/2500(N1G)/64/90:1.9/9.7 as a minimum.
The VSB shall be a shallow-mount system with a maximum total foundation depth of 300mm and shall be tested and certified as a removable solution. The vertical bollard cores shall be locked, unlocked, deployed, and removed with help of an internal locking mechanism and lifting supports provided by the manufacturer. The visible height of the vertical bollard cores shall not exceed 610mm above FFL.
The foundation of the VSB shall be pre-reinforced and delivered assembled, negating the need for any reinforcement works in-situ. Sockets within the foundation that are designed to receive the vertical bollard cores shall be finished with a stainless steel cover assembly if required.
