That is why we are committed to supporting local causes, grassroots organisations and charities whose work makes a genuine difference to people’s lives. It reflects the same values that shape our approach to Hostile Vehicle Mitigation: integrity, professionalism, common sense, collaboration, passion and continuous improvement.
This commitment is not about publicity. It is about doing the right thing, standing alongside good people doing important work, and contributing where we can in a practical and meaningful way.

Our Work With Rapaid
At Crowdguard, we know that keeping people safe is about more than just barriers. That’s why we work with Rapaid, a not-for-profit charity that provides emergency trauma bandages and promotes life-saving first aid awareness.
Our HVM solutions help reduce the risk of vehicle-based threats and provide valuable time for people to react and emergency services to respond. As part of our commitment to public safety, we include Rapaid emergency trauma bandages with our temporary HVM deployments at no additional cost.
While HVM is often the first layer of defence against vehicle-as-a-weapon attacks, it is only one part of a wider protective security strategy. Incidents can arise from terrorism, criminal activity, anti-social behaviour, or accidents, so being prepared to respond is just as important as reducing risk.
By combining proportionate HVM measures with Rapaid’s life-saving equipment, we help event organisers, venues and local authorities create safer, more resilient environments for everyone.

At Crowdguard, we are proud of our roots in Standish and our long-standing commitment to supporting the community that has helped shape our business. Alongside Ainscough Industrial Services, a fellow Standish-based business owned by our family, we are committed to giving back through local initiatives, events and charitable partnerships that make a positive difference.
Together, we support community events such as the Standish Christmas Markets, helping to ensure they can continue to bring residents together year after year. Our support also contributes to Standish Voice, a local initiative dedicated to maintaining Standish as a great place to live and work.
A cause particularly close to our hearts is Wigan Youth Zone, a charity founded with the support of Martin Ainscough and dedicated to helping young people develop confidence, improve wellbeing and raise their aspirations. Over the years, both Crowdguard and AIS have proudly supported the charity through fundraising, volunteering and ongoing financial contributions.

Standing With Survivors Against Terrorism
We continue to support Survivors Against Terrorism, a charity that gives a voice to those directly affected by attacks and ensures survivors are supported, heard and empowered.
Their work reflects a belief we share, that people and communities must always come before process or policy, and that those recovering from trauma deserve meaningful advocacy, dignity and care.
Supporting Kindness at Christmas: Festival of Kindness
In both Glasgow and London, Crowdguard donated HVM equipment to help protect the areas surrounding the Christmas trees at Social Bite’s Festival of Kindness – central spaces used to distribute gifts and winter essentials to people experiencing homelessness.
For us, this was about playing a small but practical role in supporting efforts that bring warmth, dignity and connection to those who need it most during the winter months.
