Blenheim Palace Christmas Market – Blenheim Palace is a monumental country house in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. It is the principal residence of the Dukes of Marlborough and the only non-royal, non episcopal country house in England to hold the title of palace. The palace, one of England’s largest houses, was built between 1705 and 1722 and is famously known for being the birthplace of Sir Winston Chruchill in 1874.
Blenheim Palace’s Great Court was transformed into a seasonal market showcasing a range of festive treats from around 50 designer-makers and artisan food and drink producers in cosy, traditional wooden chalets

The iconic Gates of the Palace framed the back drop for the perfectly positioned array to sit in front. A vehicle Access Unit was required to allow for delivery vehicles to the markets as well as access for the royal residents and staff. The security guards easily managed the access points and were able to allow authorised access to the Palace grounds during permitted times in less than 30 seconds and easily re securing the entrance again shortly afterwards.
With thousands of visitors each day, Surface Guard blended into the background allowing a free flow of pedestrians through the palace gates.
