Crowdguard are excited to appoint a new Director

Laurence Goode BA FCMI

My constant aim is for Crowdguard to lead the high security industry in terms of installation quality and customer service. This means applying my 40 years security and engineering industry experience to everything that Crowdguard do.  

This experience includes being the founding chairman of the PSSA (Perimeter Security Suppliers Association – www.pssasecurity.org Here, along with a talented board of industry leaders, we developed the first, innovative, independently managed third-party certification scheme for highest security products and services. The association is dedicated to raising standards in an industry that protects critical assets, national infrastructure and the population from terrorist or criminal attack involving the use of extreme force or explosives. This work has been instrumental in raising the standards of product design and manufacture, and Crowdguard are dedicated to doing the same for installation.

My experience also includes building and running a number of significant security and engineering companies in both the UK and USA. These include board positions with CRH, running several CRH security product, installation and service companies, and running AIS industrial services; the UK’s leading mechanical installation engineering company. I have also chaired regional training associations and currently also coach successful businesses to higher performance.

My career has been dedicated to the development of customer service and quality standards. These both depend on; the quality of personnel development, the consistent collection of feedback from customers and internally, and systematically taking action based on this feedback. My priority is to ensure these are all fundamental to Crowdguard’s entire operations.
