Congratulations to Mike Cunliffe, and Cameron Ainscough on achieving the Level 5 Award in Crowd Safety Management. By attending this course, Mike and Cam have better understanding of crowd risk analysis and are able to apply guidance on the management of crowd flow and movement for a wide range of places of public assembly.
Mike and Cam, along with Jack Newby, have also achieved the Level 3 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness. This qualification has been developed in collaboration with NaCTSO and has been designed with alignment to the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025.
At Crowdguard, we know effective hostile vehicle mitigation cannot exist in isolation. Forming part of a layered approach to counter-terrorism, it also needs to consider crowd safety, realistic event operations, and a wider protective-security strategy. That’s why we are continuing to invest in our people’s knowledge beyond the products we deploy.
Our Plan-Provide-Protect approach has always started with understanding risk and making informed, proportionate decisions about how that risk should be managed. These qualifications further reinforce the expertise behind that approach, giving our clients added confidence that they are working with knowledgeable professionals who take their responsibilities seriously.
With this expertise now spanning technical sales, operations and senior management, we’re strengthening the quality of our advice, decision-making and delivery, with a broader understanding of the crowd safety and protective-security context around HVM.
This is a great achievement for all three of these senior leaders, and another important step forward for Crowdguard as we lead the way in effective HVM.
