How the Unafor system works: The Core
The Unafor system has been designed for rapid deployment by a single trained technician once a foundation system called ‘The Core’ is in place.
Unafor Core requires no extra rebar and has a structural foundation depth starting from 200mm, making it a viable solution for almost all environments. Paving or surface finishes between 100mm and 150mm deep can be placed around the sockets, enabling the installation to blend into its surroundings. The sockets can be supplied with cover plates, allowing them to be removed, resulting in easy access, easier maintenance and a practically invisible foundation when the system is not in use.
The innovative Unafor foundation design features an innovative click and lock mounted installation method, enabling posts to be inserted into foundation sockets and locked into place with a firm and stable fit. The all-in-one foundation means installation time for the HVM system is kept to minimum, making pedestrianisation, storefront protection, and event security fast, safe and simple.
The speed and ease of use of the Unafor system makes it an ideal solution for event organisers that hold regular events in the same location and need effective protection with rapid deployment every time. For stadia and sports venues, the Unafor semi-permanent HVM system is an ideal solution for Zone Ex locations to provide as-needed protection against vehicle incursions on match days for ingress/egress routes. It’s also the ideal choice for pedestrianisation and outdoor dining, allowing local authorities to pedestrianise certain streets during the spring and summer months or the Christmas period, for example, or on certain days of the week. It provides an attractive way of protecting high street businesses from ram raid attacks and errant vehicles too, preventing the costs and business interruption associated with storefront crashes.
