At Crowdguard, our work is rooted in protecting people. However, our responsibility doesn’t end with the projects we deliver. Each year, we commit time, energy and resources to causes that strengthen communities and create opportunities for others.
In 2025, our team continued to put our values into practice: integrity, professionalism, common sense, passion, collaboration and continuous improvement. Those values guide our day-to-day work, and they guide how we give back too.
Here’s a look at some of the initiatives we were proud to support this year.
Championing Youth Sport
Manchester Giants Juniors – Front-of-Shirt Sponsor (U14 & U16)
This season we became front-of-shirt sponsors for the Manchester Giants Junior U14 and U16 teams. Grassroots sport plays a huge role in building confidence, teamwork and resilience in young people, and supporting the Giants helps ensure more local players can access high-quality coaching and opportunities at a formative age.
Ponteland United Juniors (U11 Girls) – Second Year of Sponsorship
We were pleased to continue our support for Ponteland United’s U11 girls’ team for a second year running. Girls’ football continues to grow nationwide, and providing stable, multi-year support helps clubs plan, develop, and keep removing barriers to participation.
Standing With Survivors Against Terrorism
This year we continued our contributions to Survivors Against Terrorism, a charity that gives a voice to those directly affected by attacks and works to ensure survivors are supported, heard and empowered. Their work aligns closely with our belief that people and communities should always come before process or policy and that those recovering from trauma deserve meaningful advocacy and care.
Supporting Kindness at Christmas
Festival of Kindness
In both Glasgow and London, we donated HVM equipment to protect the area surrounding the Christmas trees at Social Bite’s Festival of Kindness, which acted as a central hub for distributing gifts and winter essentials to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. For us, this was about playing a small part in efforts that bring warmth, dignity and connection to those who need it most during the winter months.
Hands-On Volunteering at Wigan Youth Zone
This year, our team once again spent time volunteering at Wigan Youth Zone, a place that provides thousands of young people with a safe space to learn, socialise and build life skills. The volunteering days gave our staff the chance to contribute directly, reinforcing our belief that real social value comes from people showing up and getting involved.
£1,000 of Christmas Presents & Gift-Wrapping Support
We also donated £1,000 worth of Christmas presents and will be visiting on 18th December to help wrap and prepare them. It’s a simple gesture, but one that ensures young people at the Youth Zone feel remembered and valued during the festive season.
As a continued supporter of this amazing charity over the years alongside our partners at AIS Group, it meant a great deal to us to receive these kind words from CEO of Wigan Youth Zone, Anthony Ashworth-Steen: “Wigan Youth Zone has tremendous gratitude to AIS and Crowdguard for their generous support throughout our twelve-year journey. Their commitment—through both financial contributions and volunteer efforts—has helped us reach over 35,000 young people, boosting confidence, improving health, and raising aspirations across our community. Every £1 invested in Wigan Youth Zone creates £15 in social value, meaning AIS and Crowdguard’s support has generated at least £3.5 million for Wigan Borough. On behalf of everyone at Wigan Youth Zone, thank you for your unwavering support. We look forward to continuing this incredible partnership for years to come.”
Why This Matters to Us
We value integrity, collaboration and genuine care for people – values that run deeper than any project or contract. We are passionate about what we do and committed to helping keep people safe in the broadest sense.
Giving back allows us to reflect that passion and integrity beyond our core work. These initiatives aren’t about publicity; they’re about doing the right thing, supporting organisations doing important work, and staying connected to the communities we serve.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As Crowdguard continues to grow, so does our commitment to social value. We’ll keep seeking opportunities where our time, resources and people can make a practical difference.
